Does anyone else's car interior creak like crazy after not driving it for several days? I've been avoiding my car to save gas money and I took it to work today. It sounds like the whole interior is made of cheap plastic :/ I am not amused. I'm seriously hoping it goes away soon. I keep my car in a carport if that has anything to do with it. Very Very frustrating, especially since I'm going to be driving a friend who I haven't seen in a while. "nice bmw why is it so fucking creaky and shitty sounding?!"

Weird. It has been several days since I drove it. Anyway going out to the car 2 hrs later apparently fixed it... must have been from sitting I guess. It was frustrating. Then I got pulled over in Woburn today for expired registration which I just paid for. Fixed my CF door pillars (hopefully for good), getting my sideskirt fixed tomorrow, and hoping to fix the "ting" sound I get whenever I accelerate or even push back on the car when its off. I hope its an exhaust hanger or something simple. A buddy thinks its the ebake shoe. Somehow the little shit drives me nuts even though the rear bumper is pretty beat up due to the previous owner and I've got a nice fat dent in the trunk by the plate.
What a day huh? |

I noticed a creaking interior on a used E90 I was checking out, searched around here and IIRC the rubber seal in the door dries out and causes it to creak there's some lube you can get to relub the seals. |

We were under a Phase III MCI at work, which basically only happens when mother nature decides to crap on everything in her path. It looked like a war zone when we got there.

Parts of Springfield did get hit bad; I watched the tornado live on the news as it touched down. My town was spared, luckily, but it was pretty frightening knowing that there was some major discussion going on literally five miles away. My friends in Springfield were also fine, which was a relief.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping they'll do. As for the dealer, lazy and unhelpful might as well be their motto. Every experience I've had there has been a nightmare. Three and a half hours to get my running lights replaced when I had an appointment. Now that I look back, they actually went further on the rattle issue and blamed it on a bent rim. When I asked to see the issue, the service guy took me into the shop and showed me another car with a bent rim and explained what it was (talk about patronizing) and couldn't point out the issue on my car (protip: there was no bent wheel). Furthermore, the issue has persisted on two additional sets of wheels and tires.

I got around to writing a polite but firm letter to BMW. It's a bit long though, so I'm hoping they'll still read it and not just skim it and toss it aside. Hopefully BMW NA will right the wrongs of my dealership.
