Having the outside "ring" go up further will help it look more aggressive and less sleepy looking. I gotta say, with the bumper and hood fitment off and those original lights, it looked like it just got punched in the face and was out of it. This new idea looks very promising! nice work! Have you thought about beveling the front of the acrylic so it looks more "finished"?

I may be wrong, but from what I've seen of the newer BMW angel eyes, his actually match the current style. I know the F01 LCI headlights have angel eyes with a flat face and hard edges.

correct, but the f01 has a finished outer plastic for them, as seem here

doing that may help direct the light forward

i have no more time for my baby because i been spending all the little free time that i have making these. eventually i will custom fit this my car but this set is another member of the forum with a f30.

Out of curiosity, how are you driving the LEDs? Are you using a power supply unit like a buckpuck or similar, or just tapping directly to a 12V source and using some resistors?
