Hey guys
After some unfavorable results last week with Predator ICE E92, it was back to the drawing board.

This new version uses all HIGH POWERED LEDs, and will be bright enough to cause serious damage to your eyes if you happen to look directly into it without having it in the actual housing. Cool!

The issue of the outside ring not lighting up should be fixed with this version... now we just need a test car in or around the concord area.

sorry.. Jlevi.. that stuff is already test out. super bright on inner ring
but outter ring still don't work. and on top of that, it would get a bulb out warning.

i have IM dbtran directly. asking for photo with park light off... personally, he says its not bright enought to lite up the outter ring.

and also gives error.

maybe this is different bulb then dbtran.. but it sure look the same.

don't take me wrong.. you guys are the only one who is working on this solution. I would luv to help out.... Most of the ppl who are interest in the E92 Corona ring knows who I am.

We need LED place in two strategic location to get the outter ring shine better.

LOL.. what the hell.. while we are at this topic... here is another one that don't work....

they comes in super white and amber. Problem? THe 3W Luxeon will be super bright... but the 6 smt will be useless to shine the outter ring.

what i think will work is 3X 3W Luxeon LED. One on top. 2 on the side... and the right place....

according to something i read. that tube is glass. can't be modify without any damage to it.

Jlevi, here's a suggestion.

I think you guys should try these out on an E90/E92 before sending them out to customers. That way you can show them how it really looks like, and if there are any errors/problems as well. Then you can avoid all the recalls and such. Hope everything works out for you guys.

oh man, i just got to this thread today, i'm excited. Yeah, hopefully these work out really well this time! I'll definitely be in for the buy. But yeah, i relaly hope we can find a solution to the outside AE ring.

Yeah tried those led H8 on ebay and they made the inner ring bright but hardly any light made it to the outer ring. It also gave an error. I put the Gp Thunder 8500k and by far these are the brightest i've tried. I tried all these already... (GP Thunder 7500k, Mtec Cosmos, and LED vleds on ebay)

Hope these turn out good... While your at it Jlevi make some PY24w bulbs for the ugly orange corners... hehehe
