New to the Xi game!

Hey guys just figured i'd introduce myself on this side of the forums! i owned a 07 335i some time ago and went to a 13 genesis coupe...but i missed BMW way too much so i went back to something within my means..a 09 335xi

so far i have only put a bms dci on it and as of yesterday i slapped on some tein s tech springs for the "i" i'am pretty comfortable with the ride so far...since it is on oem shocks it did get bouncier but nothing that cant be handled...iam pretty please with the drop and the reverse rake is almost fully gone.

Now to the pics

Welcome! Why'd you go for AWD? It's not as much fun, and makes everything more difficult

Edit: Forgot to mention - nice car!

More fun to me, Ive had 2 xdrives so far and love it. The ability in any weather situation to take off like a rocket. Always a good time. You cant get the ass end to hang out like a RWD, but all that fancyness wont get you to 60 any faster!

Nice looking car.

honestly i think i got a decent deal for it, 47k miles for abotu $18.5 so i just went for it. It may be more difficult but there are benefits to AWD specially when you go meth...upgraded turbos etc.

True story. I guess that I'm just bitter because I've never owned a RWD car

Thanks! I've been very happy with my V1's. They're very comfortable at the height that I have them, but I've heard some people say that if you completely slam them the ride gets a bit harsh, but I don't have any direct experience with that.

H&R coils have been getting some good reviews lately and TC Klines get high praise too.

Nice car and welcome! Cant beat an xi in the winter, and its well worth it if you get snow like I do in Ohio.

The only things that are harder are the front suspension (struts ect) and downpipes if you get them, they are harder to install due to the front tranny being in the way. Other than that, everything else I have looked into is the same!

Enjoy!

Those are the truest words ever spoken. I am CPO and never use it because taking mods off the Xi/xdrive and going back to stock is a freakin nightmare.
