No, I swapped them. Matte black ones were $50 from J Levi SW.

Also swapped out the H8 halo bulbs with some Bimmian Xenesis ones so they don't look as yellow.

Man do I love the sound from the factory cat-back!!

I will check the cap after I finish work today.
Any idea what it might be?
Any rev fluctuations on cold start?

What color was the light? Or was the message service engine soon. Or was it the engine light?

Like poster said...with Replicas you gotta do some research. I got mine OEM Concepts in Montreal, they came with some good references.

Paid I believe 1750.00 (or near there) shipped to my door, taxes in.

Paid 40 bucks for install yesterday.

I downgraded for winter from the 19" from 17". Contrary to logic, the smaller the tire the better the traction. I don't think there was a huge difference between the 17's and 18's but I still went with 17", way more room in the wheel well for the tire to move around when the ice/snow jams in there.
Did you find out what the problem is for the Service Engine light to come and stay on? I am having the same problem now at 750km.

It is just the yellow Engine Light. There is no message. When I checked the menual, it suggested bringing it in for service soon

No. I took it in, no codes were available as the light had cleared itself before i showed up to the dealer.

They blamed low battery condition and recommended a 400 BMW trickle charger.

I said...well you can imagine what i said...

Bought the CTEK charger from Crappy Tire and installed it.

Could be a fluke, could be a slight engine flood condition, or just bad gas but I've never had an issue after that and she purrs like a kitten.

If it's yellow, it's not "Critical" unlike a "RED" where you have to stop the car and get it towed or take it in ASAP.

Lux is the best. Bit pricey compared to others but looks the best. I have them and couldn't be happier.

Is it reduced power light or just check engine light? Either way I'd see if it comes on again after work. That will give the ecu time to shut off completely (takes about 20 min after the car is turned off or locked). Its happened to me before when I had jb4 installed. Wouldn't be that worried yet. If it stays on for a while then I would start to get concerned.

Never had a car yet that needs a trickle charger....unless your parking it for weeks on end without driving it.

It stayed on this morning after driving for about half an hour and stayed on until I arrived at work. I stopped the engine and restarted, it did come on. I'll see if it'll come on again after work.
It is the a yellow Engine (symbol) light, which means Service Engine Soon according to the Manual.

Just called my Sales Rep and he's going to book a service call for me on Saturday. He said it could be:
1) the battery that needs a recharge
2) the computer that needs a reset
3) the fuel cap that is not fully tightened (not this for sure as I have checked this already)

I hope it is not something major.....

Take it out and push it. No manually push it but drive it with spirit. It might clear the code and whatever the minor issue is.

The yellow engine light still kept staying on when I drove back from work today. I have only driven it for 10 days, filled it up once, have never driven aggressively with it and treated it like a baby....really want to know why.....I am not driving it tomorrow and bring it for service on Saturday morning

Unfortunate. I would get a CAN tool or JB4 or something similar that can read codes. That way you don't have to take it in every time you have an issue or it will allow you to be more informed when you do take it in.

My Sales Rep just called and said that this Sat is fully booked, so I told him to book me for next Sat.
He said it could be just the computer that needs reprogramming

JB4 is a tune for the car. Increases HP and Torque but one of the features is code reading which lets you see what codes are shown in the ECU. CAN tool is basically just a tool that lets you read codes. You can read about it here.
