Maxed out stock turbo n54 and n55 is about 420-430 whp vs. 380-395 whp. So like a 30 whp gap which isn't all that huge.

Plus this is all the power I will ever need from this car. If I wanted a much faster car I will buy a 5.0 or Evo, Sti with a bigger turbo or something like that

My best attempt after installing the stage 2 PPK and performance suspension was a 4.8 according to dynolicious. Not too bad, imho, for having 50 pounds of camera gear in the back and personally weighing about 240 pounds.

i just looked at bmw usa. says it has "3.0-liter dual overhead cam (DOHC), 24-valve inline turbocharged 320-horsepower 6-cylinder engine with TwinPower Turbo technology and Double-VANOS steplessly variable valve timing"
thought twinpower technology was N55!? |
