No ED or PCD. Unfortunately, my timeframe would put this car coming in about February or so. I am really swamped at work at that time, and really cant take the time off... I would love to do PCD, but probably not happening... |

Well it looks like you have given it much thought...nothing more to say then GL with your negotiations and congrats on your upcoming order
As for mods, I can see you putting together an order list starting with rear spoiler, blacklines, maybe transferring your euros, M-tech rear or full kit, clear bra and so on and so on....

No real mods planned other than ipod and tint. Me taking on payments (as opposed to not having them like I now am enjoying) is going to seriously cut into the mod budget. By the way... the other option for me was to go 328 coupe montego/saddle/aluminum/sport/prem/hs/idrive and I would probably do the 335 stock wheels (I dont like the multi spoke wheels... too hard to clean). If the 335 doest drive like I am hoping/expecting, then I will certainly be placing an order for the coupe. It is a second choice for me. I am still somewhat on the fence, but really leaning towards the 335 sedan... |

I think you're overanalyzing things...you've made a decision to go all out, so don't hold anything back or you'd regret (once more) some time down the road. Go for the 335i....its a great drive!

hey - what are you selling yours for? what mods will you leave on it? after all the damage to mine and it looking like I won't be able to get it totaled out. I don't think I'll trust it again - worried about finding additional problems down the road, so I might get a new one anyway and I love the euro xenons. I know yours was hit too but it was just superficial damage right?

mine was hit, and it was mostly suspension damage (I went over a curb at roughly 50 mph...) Its small things (a rattle in the exhaust and a small rear window rattle). Me and my OCD dont sit well with that... Im getting the exhaust rattle fixed this next week. The rest is in good shape. BMW of Fairfax did a good job with the repairs to the suspension... I could sell the car as is with euro xenons and all mods except for msport interior items for 32.5k. Blue book on the car in Excellent condition alone is just shy of 33k. Its been in an accident, but everything is covered under warranty, and the euro xenons cost me both legs. I might put my new order in this coming weekend. As of now, Im assuming im trading in. Dani, if your interested, let me know... Mods that are going to stay: CF splitters, clearbra and tint (duh), 162's with all season tires and rear trunk spoiler. Items I will probably sell: Euro xenons ACS roof spoiler Rubber all season mats Mods I will keep for new car: Msport interior bits Rear fog switch Happy robot (if its the sedan Im going with...) Rear spacers Last edited by bavarian19; 11-21-2006 at 10:52 PM.. |

Back on topic...
Its killing me now... Im really thinking of doing the 328 coupe loaded to the brim with options. I called my insurance company today for a quote on the 335... yikes!!! I should just get an M3 So the newest looks like it might be: 328 coupe: montego/saddle/aluminum/ sport prem hs navi logic 7 ipod integration rear shades and possibly CA Can someone confirm that CA now does not include auto fold mirrors??? Looks like the coupe is slowly winning me over |

Even so, not having to remove your keys from your pocket to open the doors and start the car is a bigger benefit than you might think. You get really used to it.
