2006 330i GPS and Radio does not turn on

HI! I recently got a 06 330i but the radio and gps does not work, it does'nt turn on at all. Does anyone know of a good shop that i can take it to? Around LA or San Gabriel Valley area? Thank you!

First thing I would check on my own is the battery. Go to your local Auto store and they can do a load test on your battery for free before you open your wallet...

I agree with Romeo unless you're under warranty.

Check your battery, and get a voltometer and put it to your alternator and make sure it's ~14v.

That's does not mean the battery is good. The 14V just means the alternator is charging battery. Question here is if the battery is holding the charge or not. That's why a load test is the best thing to do.

What is your battery voltage in the morning.
If the INtelligent Battery System detects a low battery
it can turn off stuff like the radio . You need to make
sure you have a strong battery before proceeding.
Next thing to check is fuses if you have no lights shinning.
Meaning the display is dead. There are two fuses one in the
Fuse panel behind the glove box and another behind the Nav/idrive
unit.

F31 is the ccc fuse on the glovebox.
