Which fuse for heated steering wheel?

Hi all -

I'm sorry if this has been covered, but I couldn't get anything via search.

The fuse box map shows 3 fuses for the icon "steering wheel", are any of these responsible for the steering wheel heater/switch? If so, could you point me in the right direction with a fuse number?

Many thanks!

Check all three associates with the steering wheel. Likely, it’s one of the higher amperage fuses.

Also, there was a software glitch with some cars that automatically turns off the wheel if it’s turned on in the first 60 seconds (or so) of the car being turned on.

There’s another issue that arises if your battery is low on charge - the car will automatically cut power to high amp items such as heaters.

Trouble shoot these items and come back.

Hope that helps

it looks like F5 but not only this function will be powered via this fuse
the problem usually with heating module in steering wheel
therefore it is exist in ETK as separate part

Many thanks! So - if I'm reading this right - I shouldn't be able to use the steering wheel controls for the stereo for example if it is indeed a fuse issue?

Additionally, I have a Creator 310plus I am slowly learning to use. It shows a fault with the footwell module - shows nothing but send data"?" - but I think my used e91 may have an updated footwell module (so it's unexpected or incompatible with the Creator data load) as it has angel eyes. I imagine the steering wheel heating routes through the footwell module, so I can't grab a code.

1. yep
2. heating not routed via footwell module, it is separate module which connected to junction box module via steering wheel stalk module (JBE)

Thank you very much. Stereo controls not an issue, so I guess all is well fuse-wise.
