2019 Porsche GT3 RS info/advice

Hello everyone (especially to GT3/GT3 RS owners),

I am in market for 2019 Porsche GT3 RS.
The dealer I work with able to find one where previous owner is selling his 2019 GT3 RS with 4500 miles.

The MSRP for this car was $213K. And dealer is asking $230K.

What you guys think? Looking for suggestions, comments, advice, right pricing, etc.

Serious info please

Looks like in my area, 2016’s go for close to $230k asking. If that kind is money is to be spent, the 2019 is a much better deal. You won’t loose much resale on the car in 3 years at all.

I would jump on that deal.

$30k over MSRP seems to be the standard for a new 991.2 GT3RS. $17k over isn't bad, even with the 4500 miles. Only caveat is make sure you like the spec...you'll regret jumping on the first decent deal if it's not specced to your liking.

Not sure if those M4 GTS comparison posts are serious or not but gave me a good chuckle. Yes you can get "a good deal" on a GTS (<$100k) but you're comparing apples to oranges.

Ha, my buddy just paid $25K for an allocation on a GT3, so I agree with the above posts, seems rather fair.

The M4 GTS was hilarious! Can you imagine...

How the hell did someone put 4500 miles on an RS when they've only been out for a few weeks? If you're going to buy it, have the dealer CPO the car. The tires might be toast already. Price seems low given the current GT3/RS market. Why didn't the dealer CPO it already? What money are they making if they're selling at $17k over? They have to be getting a cut and the owner is going to take a $50k bath here? Something doesn't add up.

I am surprised on miles. I will dig deeper. And its Porsche Certified.

Still doesn't make sense for the guy to trade it to a dealer for MSRP when he could get MSRP + $20k in about an hour on Rennlist and probably paid MSRP + $50k or more. People do dumb things though. At least it's certified?

The guy who ordered it probably is a good, long term customer and has a hand shake agreement with the dealer to give it back to him instead of flipping it when he is ready to move on. This ensures him another spot at MSRP for an allocation when he is ready to order another special spec car....

I've done this and I know a couple buddies who have done the same when they ordered their GT3's and RS's.

Best of luck with your potential purchase.
Has to be one of the most beautiful modern cars on the road today.

I had an opportunity to drive a 2016 rs , way beyond my capabilities.

any reason why you didn't post this on Rennlist? seems like you'll get a much better signal-to-noise ratio there. unless you have and i didn't notice it.

Mark up on probably the highest mileage .2 RS out there.

Porsche dealerships need to get absolutely dicked.

What are the options on this thing?
Also, get out of here and go to Rennlist.

I own a GTS and there is no comparison to a 991.1/2 RS at all, if you can swing it financially. Good luck!
