I'm feeling the same thing with the DWS06. Steering response is so slow and fighting the wheel every time you are in a corner or want to make a quick maneuver makes me hate driving my car. And that sucks. Going to get 4 wheel alignment and suspension components checked out. If they still do it, they are going back

Have fun trying to compare A/S tires to a true Summer/Winter setup. All I've said from the beginning is since you bought a $60k car why forfeit performance and ride on shitty tires?

Took DWS 06s back and got Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus in a 235/45/17 just to be safe. I should be able to run a 245/45/17 all day. I went back down to the 235 because I didn't want to deal with and problems. New tires are great and I got a 4-wheel alignment to check things out and everything seems good. I really like the tires. They are quiet and hopefully will be better in the snow than the AS 3s and also last longer. They corner well also. If I like these long term might stick with them for a while. Night and day better compared to the DWS 06s.

Got the DWS06s for the wife's E90 328i. The tires ride fine and are much quieter however I will note that I haven't pushed the car yet. But first impressions are that the tires are a nice fit for the vehicle.

Bump on the all season Tire question
My wagon has 225/45r17 fronts and 255/40r17 backs.
Came to me two years ago with some goodyear eagle F1 assymetrics. Meh... Pretty much left well enough alone until now, because it's time for new tires. Local BMW dealer wants to put Potenza run flats on there. I know very little, but I really just prefer to do my homework. Are there better options out there? Better value? Better performance? |

Michelin Pilot Sport as3+ it was 37f and i was surrounded by snow in Angeles Crest National forest and redlining 2nd and 3rd on straights and pulling gnarly Gs on some corners. Even that the tires didnt even make a sound and stayed true. The feedback was good and also didnt break loose when I added more throttle!

According to Tire Rack, Michelin A/S sport +3 ate the best All-season tires. The second best are the Continental DWS-06

I would highly recommend the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3's if you don't mind having a non run flat tire on your vehicle. I have these on mine currently and love them.

Throw some Blizzak's on winter wheels for this season and then get something like a Firehawk Indy 500 for an inexpensive performance tire. Chasing an inexpensive and effective all-season performance tire is asking too much from a single product
