Gp Thunder 8500k For E92

I Just Recently Received The Gp Thunder 8500k For My Angel Eyes.
I Read The Box And It Saids The Color Is "plasma White".does Anyone Know If This Is The Same As "super White" Because I Been Trying To Search The Web For The Super White But, Can't Find Any.
I Just Swaped Them And It's Very Dim.

+1

"plasma white", "super white", "titanium white", etc. are just names given by manufacturers to make their products sound exciting. What really matters if the Kelvin rating (in the case of the GP thunders, 8500k)

Yes they are dim. They are useless. People like them due to the price.

It's not really the bulbs it's the car. I'll have a fix in the next few weeks.

Even if you get them to stay at full power the color is hideous at night. It looks like a cheap blue/greenish bulb from Vatozone. I have them on my E92 right now, and I'm waiting for something to replace them with. If nothing is available soon, I will just put the stocks back in. They look better in pictures than in person. Believe me.

Right now, it's safest to try the PIAA Xtreme Force, coz it's not as expensive as the LED based solutions and PIAA halogens are pretty damn bright

I think it's personal preference. My 8500s are just fine, not ricey blue and a nice match with the other lights.

Same here... but only for the angel eyes. With the same 8500k in the foglights, it looks ricey as hell and really blue looking. Doesn't match the tint/hue of the angel eyes for some reason, even though I'm using the same bulbs. But for the price, they're great for the angel eyes.

As for people saying they don't look bright, you need to look at them dead on and not at an angle (like standing in front of your car, looking down on them at a 60 degree angle). When you stand back a good 10-20 feet and look at the car as others would see it when you're driving, then the GP Thunders brighten up both rings pretty good.

I gave away my GP thunders and I'm using some LED H8s w/resistors for the color & brightness and I have on order the 3200K H8 HIDs for the fogs.

The 7500s are better in terms of not looking ricey/greenish. When I first put them, they had a greenish hue, but after running them for 2 mths now, I don't really see it anymore. For the price, they do the job. I don't really think it's worth spending $200+ on the LED solutions when they are apparently just as dim for the outer ring.

Majority of people love them, including me. Only complaint is with the low beams on, the angels dim but I can live with that until someone comes out with a solution for this.

Same here, mate...I wonder what bulbs should i use in order to make fogs looking like Xenon lights (Bright white).

Any input would be appreciated.
