Help... Oil Leak
I have a CPO 2010 328i xdrive with 42k miles. I was planning on changing my oil tonight for the first time (bought with 33k miles, in Jul). I crawled under the car and the stiffening plate had oil all over it. I opened the cover by the oil drain plug, more oil so I figured the drain plug was not tightened properly. There is oil in front of the drain plug closer to the front of the engine. It looks like oil coming from the seal by oil pan. Hopefully the pictures make sense.
Calling the dealer in the morning, still covered by CPO. Just trying to get an idea of what the issue could be and if anyone else has dealt with the same. Thanks for any help. |

Yes, please post an update. Thanks!

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger
