VTT 2018 N55 Info Thread

Hey guys, wanted to start a thread to show you some of the exciting things VTT has upcoming in 2018.

VTT SINGLE KIT
We have what most will see as a departure from the usual VTT philosophy, but we felt it was time to give the N54/N55 platform another option in the popular single turbo section. We still love twins but sometimes you just want a quick-spooling high flow single. We got you covered either way.

Introducing the VTT Cast Manifold V-Band Twin Scroll Bottom Mount Single Turbo line up. Please note while we have been working on this for a while and have many parts cast, these are not expected to be released until spring or summer 2018. Also, note the pictures are representative of our “blank” manifold casting. Our fabricator is adding O2 bungs, and EWG flanges for the N54, and EWG kits. The N55 kits using IWG turbos will use the blank manifold as no O2 bungs or EWG flanges are needed.

Key Features of the VTT V-Band Bottom Mount Single Turbo Kits are as follows:
• Industry-first true twin scroll bottom mount kit using V-BAND connection for ease of install
• EWG and IWG kits will be available. IWG kits will use FACTORY boost control. No need for add-on boxes, or Mac Solenoids
• Competitive pricing
• Fitment for N54 and N55
• JB and DBB options will be available
• Manifold cast from Ni-Resist D5S
• GENUINE Garrett turbochargers used for DBB optioned kits
• DIRECT plug and play kits will be available for the N55, meaning factory lines, factory downpipes, factory charge pipe connections, etc will be retained.
• Turbo options for the N55 direct plug and play kits will be as follows.
o E- Series 2013, and below PWG N55: GTX3076 sized JB turbochargers, retaining factory boost control
o F-Series 2013+ EWG (Electronic Wastegated) N55: GTX3076 JB, GTX3582 JB retaining factory boost control[/B]
• ESTIMATED AVAILABILITY DATES
o N54/N55 EWG kits end of Q2 2018
o N54/N55 IWG kits Q3 2018
o N55 direct replacement kits E-series PWG end of Q2 2018
o N55 direct replacement kits F-series EWG Q4 2018

The obvious questions are:
What is the power capability of the GTX3076 on the E-series cars?
What is the estimated price point of above?

GTX3076R is ~600 whp

Pricing discussion is a no-no here but it'll be very competitive.

The manifold looks odd near the collector. It also appears that the manifold port exits, sorry I don't know the correct terminology, are smaller than the ones on the turbine housing.

Sounds promising for the N55 crowd. Hopefully the price is indicative of the fact that you don't need to include a downpipe or chargepipe. Couple that with power that is likely at the cusp of what the N55 can take on stock internals and what is unobtainable with stage 2 offerings and I think this is a winner.

500 WHP on 93 octane going to be possible?

Same! That's all a 135 needs. Any release dates for this?

Pardon my noobiness, but...

What would be the significant differences between this and your current stage 2 offerings?

This is a big single turbo vs a hybrid rebuilt stock turbo

Everything is larger which will allow less restricted airflow. The stock turbofold is pretty small and the hosing isn't big either. This should be a decent step up from the Pure stage 2. The biggest advantage you'll see is power increasing at the same rate until redline and the ability to make more power on lower octane.

Possible to send me a PM on the product? Looking to upgrade my turbo on my e90 n55 and wondering how much and when can I get it? How much power can I expect, already full bolt on and have PI ready to install as well.

Just joined the forum so I could sub to this. Looks very interesting!

I just bought my '11 e92, it's totally stock now so I'm definitely looking into doing something about that...

Any fear about engine longevity pushing that much power?

I think that all depends on you and your left foot and how much boost your trying to squeeze through your engine, and for how long.
