BMW of Riverside recommended Holmes Body Shop in Riverside. I took my 335i there and they did excellent job on my car.

Visit their website: http://www.holmesbodyshop.com/ then click on locations to find nearest body shop (there are several in Southern California).

Marcos in Pasadena is the only place I'll take my car. Definitely pricey but every car I've seen come out of that shop looks better than new.
