What I did not plug back ?

abs sensor?

(transfer case is connected, both harness)

will get into it tomorrow morning.

You have to drive it on the ground (like around the block) so it can see the difference in abs sensors when turning. I’ve gotten that one twice when I left the doors open and ran the battery down.

every time I store the car, I remove the battery, and I have this.

But must be something else, it wont go away. I did not had time to check this yet.

Ill check wheel rotation with INPA, all 4 should read the same, if tires got same pressure.

Not impossible that a cable on the abs sensor internally broke.

Did not go to my alignment yet. soon. Hopefully by next week

From what I read you have it up in the air, so all 4 turn at same speed. That is a fault, because they should all be turning at different speeds when you turn a corner/turn the wheel.

If the abs sensors all check out as good, go drive it around the block or drive a figure 8 or drive a circle clockwise and then counter clockwise.
That walkways cleared it x3 and on my e91 x.

Anytime it loses electrical power you will get the trifecta of lights. Mine usually clears after I back out of the driveway amd then turn left at the corner.

Excuse the filthy engine bay....but installed an OEM performance strut brace. Shout out to NOKO for selling it to me.

Had to make an 1/8" spacer to lift the brace up as it rubbed on the top of the engine cover; these bars were meant for N52 cars.

Ordered new tires for my E91, because . . . well, this:

I had been feeling looseness and sliding in the rear the last couple of times I drove it so I pulled off the wheels to check suspension components and found the rears with severe inside wear. The fronts are also showing uneven wear on the insides, but nowhere near this bad. I'd had it aligned in December and am hoping that this uneven wear was from before the alignment, but I am surprised that the shop did not notice the wear and try to sell me new tires.

Anyway, new Continental DWS06+ tires. Then, get the alignment checked and sorted so it doesn't reoccur (and then better monitor tire wear).

FYI that is almost always toe out.

Finally got the tools cleaning supplies, paints, etc etc mostly put away from everything I worked on over the winter and got the white mini (needs clutch) scooted over from the middle so I could finally get the e91 into the garage.

- all wheels giving the same speed signal ...
- steering angle sensor is at 0° when steering is center and it read angle.

- all fault I have is absent module ; CA, sound system and car alarm. so nothing to do with the ABS .

- I have a transfer case code 5F3A, but seems like is related to my ABS issue

Yes, the before report from the last alignment was:
LF 0.06 RF 0.09 Total Toe 0.16 Steer Ahead -0.02

LR -0.13 RR 0.10 Total Toe -0.03 Thrust Angle -0.11

After:
LF 0.05 RF 0.04 Total Toe 0.09 Steer Ahead 0.01

LR -0.07 RR 0.11 Total Toe 0.17 Thrust Angle -0.02

So, my bad for letting it be so out of alignment for long enough to ruin the tires - Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3, five years old but with only 20k miles on them.

Each time battery is disconnected and reconnected, car always give that warning, at least mine does. To clear it you need to turn the steering wheel all the way to right and then all the way to left. It relearns the steering wheel limits. It is part of the ceremony of giving car electrical power back again.
If it is not clearing after turning the steering wheel all the way left and right, then you have some other problem.

yeah, I store my car during winter, so Im use to this.
However, this time it wont go away.

Ill do the alignment and if it's still there, Ill dig more.

I already had this issue with a very bad alignment back in the days. But the car was barely drivable, now it's very straight...

Now possible to do some maintenance without getting rained on constantly in the UK! So after 6 months of having the parts + crap weather more or less, the wife and I got our maintenance hats on today and done:

- New rear rotors, dimpled and slotted with a nice black anti-rust coating. Quite pleased with the look! Got to try out my new rotor puller, as even my big nasty 3lb sledge hammer wasn't getting those rotors off! Worked beautifully, not cheap, but sure ill get a few more uses out of it in the future years to come.
- New mintex pads.
- Did go to change handbrake shoes, but they didn't need it with plenty of meat left on them, and had ordered wrong shoes anyways (biggest driving factor lol). Installed new spring pack I got and left it at that. And adjusted.
- New wheel speed sensors both rear sides to cure the intermittent Christmas tree dash, which it has done nicely!
- New brake wear sensor for good measure.
- Also unseized the safety bonnet latch with wd40 penetrant, brilliant stuff, you could literally feel it start get gritty as the rust disintegrated, then freed up beautifully. Like new now.
- And finally, happened to see an old school friend while changing the rotors, who is a locksmith by trade. I now have a second key to my car with the key cut and coded!

Lost my allen key set which made the job take many more hours searching for it; eventually found it under the sofa, no idea how it got there... blame the kids!

New rocker cover from autodoc on its way as my next job!

Converted the e91 L7 door speakers and center speaker to f30 hifi door speakers and center speaker.
For anyone who wants to do this, Rears fit but can’t be bolted in, as there isn’t enough thread on the studs projecting, I glued them in with e6000.

Front had barely just enough thread to get the nut back on it.
Center is drop in as are front door tweeters.
Rear L7 tweeters were left in situ but left disconnected.

End result, better sound. Doesn’t have that sort of harshness that metal cones seem to have to me, the soundstage seems wider and bass is upfront. Sound is cleaner IMO, which is exactly why I did this as I had enjoyed them in my f31.

The wagon did a thing.

325xi MT.

I've calibrated the mpg-o-meter so it's pretty close too.
