Had fell out of love with the car but I seem to have found a new love for it so back on here to hopefully learn to do some maintenance and upgrades.

Garage List
Hello!
Just bought my 2012 320d Sport+, 50K miles, Alpine white with coral red leather. Not my first BMW but my first of this generation and hoping it will treat me as well as the previous two have done. Not much opportunity to drive the car at the moment due to Tier3/4 situation so no idea whether I've got a good 'un or not yet but fingers crossed...

...so 1000 miles later, no issues so far and an absolute joy to drive - big improvement over my E46 in pretty much every way. The only thing I miss is the engine oil temp. guage. Would gladly swap the pointless MPG guage for this any day! All I've done to it is a couple of Forte diesel treatments but will be servicing when the MOT's due in September.

Introduction

Hi all!

First time BMW owner after owning 2 VW Golfs. Just bought a manual 2007 E92 335i and already i am susceptible to the infamous valve cover gasket leak )and possible the oil filter housing gasket) . Looking to replace these in a week time after seeing plenty of useful DIYs on here, so thanks to those members! The car itself feels much more solid than the VWs I'm used and i looking forward to driving it properly once the leaks are sorted. I am hoping to positively contribute to this forum for all the help i got from it already.

Hi all,

Jon here. English, live in NL but stuck in UK at minute!
I have an E91 318i Petrol which has been great but had a big huccup in summer and now the key doesn't work. Need to post a reply to have my account activated fully!

Aside from that I love it, trying to hammer as many miles into it as I, but the brakes have been put on that now.

New E91 owner saying hi!

Hi all, just joining the forum to read up on any useful info on the car. It's a 2010 E91 325i but I've had it for almost a year now.

Proved to be pretty tricky finding a nice estate car as there is clearly a big demand on them... I'm used to having sports cars but I've never had so much trouble as I did when looking for a sporty estate I have to say! After missing out on a couple I moved very quickly (although I still nearly missed it!) and picked up this low milage (was 52k) high specced Touring, and so far it's been really good. Will stick up a post as to what I've been up to on it, but it's all cosmetic stuff really

Have had a 335DX for a couple of years now. Would be great to know if anyone has had an MTEC intercooler fitted to one.

Hello folks

Bought my 55 plate 320d e90 about 18 months ago and spent a fortune putting it right after it was owned by someone who claimed it was all ok then pop went the dual mass followed by the turbo and since it has been into a mates garage and will need another £300 - £400 spending but still love it.

Hi, newish owner of E90 330i SE which replaced a Octavia VRS. Octavia was much more practical but the beemer is bit more refined and once Ive finished the suspension upgrade will be better to drive. 275hp to the front wheels on the Skoda was a handful !

Newbie from Wolverhampton

Hi there,

this is Giuseppe. I bought an E92 330i Msport 2011 auto in January. So far so good... In the morning when it is cold I have the check engine light on (with some irregular firing), then I turn off and restart and the light goes off and the engine is perfect.

Yet another newbie

Evening guys, well I’ve gone from the E30 forum a good few years back to this the E90 forum, personally I have an E91 facelift, having finally managed to come back to the marque after 8 years of being the custodian of a pug 406, yeah I know French, but I loved that car so there.
My touring has a few niggles, only picked her up two days ok, so I’ve a few quezzies to ask to guide me onto fixes, and hopefully in return I can help other members with their problems👍
