You think you would have a hard time in the front with the bigger strut for the H&R springs? I have H&R on Koni's and want to pick up a set of ARC8's. Just haven't decided if I want something like your setup or go with 17's and a meaty setup
Thanks man it depends on the specs you run I went with et20 up front and have plenty of clearance between wheel and strut.

FYI, the FK's are disgusting. You'll regret not spending a bit more and buying a proper setup. I had them in my 235i for 3 weeks before they started bouncing around and bottoming out the suspension travel. Put in some Ohlins and I never looked back.
Thanks! Yeah the 235 just barely clear the fenders I might do a 225 on my next set of tires. The Fk's don't have the best ride quality but are a temporary solution. I figured it be better than stock strut/h&r spring combo and I do plan on getting a proper suspension setup after upgrading the turbos.

Ive had many setups, including HR on stock, HR cup kit. ST coilovers are the best all around setup.

I have these in 17 with rs3s.

I wish they made these in 9" amd 10" +25 offsets all around. Great setup for all e9x non m.

For now its custom forged or cast style 95 that are brittle and stupid heavy at 35lbs and up.

If you had to guess, about how much did you drop the car with the FKs?

I'd love to replicate this setup, but am leaning towards springs. Not sure if the H&R Sports or Race springs would be close to what you have.

Id say about 1.25 up front and 1 rear. My main concern was that I didn't want the rear to sit lower than the front as it usually does with H&R sports and I think Race springs are too much of an aggressive drop for the stock struts. When I was contemplating springs I was going to do H&R sports with supreme power lowering perches up front to even it out.

Good to know, I'll probably go with the Sport springs and those lowering perches! One last question: what tires are you using? I know some tend to run narrow or wide. Thank you.

I'm going to have matching wheels on both my cars now. I've always drooled over the concavity of the 3-series offsets compared to my 1-series. Plus, I gotta get rid of these 20's that came on the car!

No problem
I'm running Sumitomo HTR Z III they run a little wider than other tires I've used. That's a good looking 1er you have there, I loved my 1er but the conservative fitment is definitely one things that I disliked most.

Did you ever consider Avant Garde M359s? Or you wanted a more concave front?

Did consider other wheels but decided on Apex they are the best quality wheel for the price IMO
