Question regarding PCV Recall

Hey folks, I did the PCV recall repair at the Dealership in March 2023. Over the past month I’ve got all the PCV symptoms again - howling/whistling, excess oil, smoke, etc.

My question is, does BMW warranty their work on recalls? I imagine they would but haven’t been able to get through on the recall phone line as of yet and the actual dealership doesn’t have an answer

I got this recall call done. The 22-119v recall doesn't do anything except install an inline fuse. I believe previous recalls replaced the PCV heater component under the intake manifold, also had that done. Never heard of a recall for the actual PCV bubble.

Is this a recent letter? Is your particular car SULEV? I only got one describing the PCV heater and fuse installation. Replaced PCV components myself, old was pretty clogged after 130k miles.

Exactly what you described is what they replaced on mine. Result… PCV ended up going bad anyway. I ended up just replacing it myself and now things are perfect again
