Bimmers in the Dells

Are any of you guys from the northern Chicago suburbs interested in getting together before the meet and driving up to the Dells? We will meet at the Lake Forest Oasis, pick up some food/snacks, fill up and go...

FYI it'd probably still be faster for you to go south and take I-90 over instead of going through Milwaukee. Plus I know there will be a group meeting in Schaumburg to come up on Saturday morning.

Mapquest adds about 20 miles and 30 minutes that way... but I can see the traffic on Saturday morning in Milwaukee could be an issue. Then again we can bypass by going on 894. Shouldn't be that bad, right?

well maybe adds 20 miles for you but you've got to remember the masses live further south than you. I've gone both ways from Glenview, I-90 is by far the fastest up to Madison... where you'd join back up with I-90/I-39 anyway from the Milwaukee route to get to the Dells. Plus think about it this way, less possibility of traffic and who would you rather deal with... Milwaukee Cops in a city of just under 1 million people (meaning more Police) or passing through smaller towns like Rockford and Beloit?

I mean its up to you, if you can find a group of a few guys from up north by you then cool... I'm sure it'll cut down your your time for the people who are closer to the WI boarder. You might even want to consider changing this to a meet up for anyone around the Milwaukee area and meet people around there too (I know KyleKu is coming from Kenosha so he'd be down) but chances are you'll find a lot more people to caravan with closer to I-90.

My car is pretty much stock too, except for wheels, exhaust, M3 trunk lip and pedals... Can I get a ride too
