Some folks are afraid to drive their E90 100 miles away from home; you and I both know better .

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

Funny how I can have a blast in my 170hp E30, but all these mulletheads think you can only have fun in an overweight pig of a car that's fast in a straight line*. Just mash the go pedal, the car shifts and everything for you... no skill required.
*(but is it? an average Tesla would embarrass any 335i in a drag race - modded or not. somebody else always has a 'faster' car) |

Not sure I can agree, it depends on the model.
My 06' 325i has 235,000 and has been very reliable, the 08' X5 3.0si has 205,000 and has needed minimal repairs, and the 14' 535i hasn't needed a single repair all the way to 85,000 miles. |

At this rate the G20 is only gonna last 25k?!
I did have 2 VANOs jobs under warranty, and my ABS/DSC hydro failed out of warranty (go figure and at around 46k) causing me to DIY ($4,200 is a hella don't!). But other than that my car has been reliable, granted it is "not" a DD and it has 53k since 12/06. |

How is a 330i less exciting than a 328i?

I was in awe of the 330i when it came out in summer 2005--was at the reveal where they pulled the cover off. The only reason I ended up with a 335i is because I didn't have my ducks in a row and it would be about 14 more months before I ended up ordering a BMW. 330i is a pretty capable car, I did the ultimate drive with professional instructors and back then it was RE050's that they scorched on the track.

Almost anyone making a starting EE base salary could afford that. Whether it’s a sound financial decision is another matter entirely. All this e-bragging tho. Gross. You must be a real joy to be around irl. You can make car payments until they’re paid off and start making new car payments? Oh yeah, that’ll show everyone how smart you are. 👍 |
