Replacement Battery

Hi Guys,
my battery is struggling with this cold weather. I've tried a CTEK on it and it's usually OK for a few months after. Looks like after 9 years it's time for a replacement. Can anyone recommend one?
Hopefully I can get a blackfriday deal.

Thanks

You need to find out the battery spec of the one you are replacing and replace with like for like or better spec. The important info is amp hours and cold crank ampage rating which will be something like 80AH and 800CCA. This info should be written on the top of your current battery. The car is also configured for the battery and battery type in order to set an appropriate charge cycle which is designed for battery longevity and should be set to the specs of your current battery.
When installing a new battery you should code the spec of the battery to the car if you change spec and the battery should be registered (regardless of changing spec or not) to inform the car that a brand new battery is used (which again, will adjust charging cycles). The other consideration is the battery type which will be AGM or a standard wet battery and this info is also part of the coded battery to the car. AGM is gel based, generally seen in cars with start/stop function and are better batteries all round but come at a premium.

Go to Andrew Page or Euro car parts, give em the reg and they will tell you what you need.

That's not a problem in my case but always worth noting. I have MHD, JB4, INPA, Carly etc.

Mine was a 80AH
I picked up a 77AH battery. Fitted and registered it yesterday. All good.

From Eurocarparts. £109

Smaller and lighter than my stock battery. 5 year guarantee.

I've basically replaced my stock 80AH, 640CCA with a 77AH 780CCA for £109

The most expensive battery Eurocarparts sell is a 80AH, 800CCA for £175, but thats also bigger and heavier and comes with a 3 year guarantee, not a 5 year.
So I'm happy.

Just got an agm exide battery. It's 95ah 850cca. But having some strange problems...!
Firstly the blower doesn't work for the first few miles and start stop does not work anymore.
I registered with Carly to the next nearest battery size which was 90ah. I have 320ed lci, not sure if I need to do with NCS expert maybe that would be better?
