Try harder little man! I would never try to match my 328 to a 335 cuz it just wont happen unless i go forced induction. My car is my DD , read under my name SloNlow ...If i wanted a fast car i would of gotten the 335 and modded it...
This is where you so called blind "hobbyist" fails to understand, we don't want that sorry turbo with the HPFP, we can figure out a way to achieve the same weight to power ratio than a STOCK 335 and still save $5k for something else. At the 335 weight to power ratio there is more than enough power for our daily driving, in fact a little too much I have to always watch out for the cops. As long as we do not care to go to a track, no need to buy a 335 and mod it, just not worth the trouble for some of us, so we are here talking about NA mods. You don't even have to go through the expensive trouble to f&^* with your exhaust to achieve that goal.

Sorry to break that news to you, even though I said I had no time to feel sorry for you.

Ya you can argue the power to weight ratio but then you have to think about the poweband of each vehicle... X amount of power kicks in at Y and holding it until Z . You can drive a highly modified 335 anywhere you want, doesnt have to be a track car, learn how to control your foot and you dont have to worry about cops. Umm i actually have wheels for my car , i didnt look into it cuz there is no need for lightwright whels on my car.

DTC, there is no way you can make a 328 compete with a 335i, even with weight savings. Why would you drop $5000 on a 328, If you can drop $1000 on an aftermarket fuel pump for the 335i and never worry about it again ?

LMAOoo... This thread is dedicated to dtc .. He forgets about powerband and gearing .. If car A makes 100whp @ 2k rpms and car B makes 50whp @ 2k with same weight and so called POWER numbers car A is gonna win n00b.. It all depends when and where your making your power and how much of it your holding till redline.

But you now know light weight wheels can make your car even faster, for less than what you thought of, don't you?

Ok now your trying to justify your stupidity man , get over it. I can take out all of my interior and be faster for free! Just cause a wheel is LIGHT dont mean shit, depends on the quality of the wheel as well, whats the point of having lightweight wheels if they are bending easily.. Quality is key and i will pay the premium for that ANYTIME..

I thought this thread was about an echarger? you always tend to just kinda steer away from the OP..

That is why I kept saying some of you guys need to go back to school and learn how to read first. No one is trying to compete with a modded 335 in a 328, read again before you embarrass yourself again.

I am saying for $7k less one can buy a 328, drop $2k to achieve the same weight to power ratio as a 335, save that extra $5k for something better, and pretty much get what a guy who sets out to buy a stock 335 for, without having to worry about those FPFP shit.

The mods I mentioned will also be the safest mods you can do, without ever having to worry about any warranty issues or needing to clear codes here and there if you buy new.

Now am I clear enough?

Get interior out? You got to be kidding me right? How many people can pull their BMW interior out? Are you nuts? Do you only know how to look at your own needs, not have to ever consider what others might need? Like having the back seats so his kids can ride in it to school?

Don't change your subject everytime you lose an argument. The 328 has a good enough flat and smooth power curve with peak torque at very low RPM, why I picked the 328 not the G37 you moron.

That is your problem, you don't read enough so you don't even know how to read the arguments.

Who cares? There are a lot of cars out there that are faster, the G37 was not as refined, too much shit noise, had to WOT every time to kick some juice out of it, not worth even the lower cost to me.
