Hypothetically, if I just slapped the N55 exhaust rockers in my N52... It couldn't be worse, right?

who knows. the idea is they may have a different rocker ratio. ideally, a higher multiplier would give you more lift with the same cam profile. but if the rocker ratio is smaller, then yes it will make it worse.

Hey everyone!

I just found this thread (I'm doing research for a future swap into my e36) and have to say, this thread is GOLD, I've found myself reading through it's entirety without taking a single break.... at 1 am

It's been almost a year since anyone posted anything here, and I don't want to be "that guy"...

So I won't be, and instead I'll ask how are you all doing?
Eating healthy, enjoying some needed off-time and still measuring smiles/gallon rather than miles/gallon?

That's another great read! Didn't know a Block in that shape was fixable, very happy to learn that it is with enough knowledge and tools

So the N55 exhaust rockers do work in the N52. At about 3k since installing them. Not sure about the performance benefits yet as I haven't had it properly tuned yet. But it does have a rather pleasant exhaust note and burbles quite easily now(for an automatic). Thinking of going with a SFP tune.
