Who make the best fitting CF hood FML i just smashed my hood in
Well i was lifting my car on the lift and some fucking how i knocked a peice of exhuast pipe off the wall and it landed on my hood. great sunday, so not i have a soft ball sized smash in my hood on the body line.
I was thinking about gettting a carbon fiber hood anyways, now i NEED ONE Who makes a good fitting good priced hood? Thanks, Ill try to get pics of my stupidity Last edited by jokergerm; 06-05-2011 at 12:55 PM.. |

Wow, that looks nasty lol. At least it gives you a reason to buy a new hood. I'm not sure of a hood without fitment issues, but I think it also has to do with how well your body shop can align it. I was looking into the Duke Dynamics hood--the design is different and I like it. I know they are infamous for terrible fitment, but I think i heard somewhere they manufacture their own stuff instead of using Chinese suppliers now. LTBMW offers it (and i think they stand behind it lol), and you can Google it to see if you like it.

All I can tell you from personal experience is VIS Racing has terrible fitment. So stay away from them.

try DD or carbon 8. I never experienced with cf hoods, but expect a little adjustments on any parts that are not oem
