Bump. Not too much information on this code. Just SES light while driving. Limp mode when the Vanos codes are thrown below.
Getting this code (2D5A Control motor torque limitation) along with 29F4, 29F5. SES light is probably from the catless dps with stock tune. But this tagged along with it from time to time. As well as the codes below.

Also in separate occasions, i am getting these codes....
2EE6, Cooling fluid sensor, measurement range

As well as Vanos codes, which i know are either clogged/failing.

2A87, Outlet Vanos variable cam control test, mechanics

29AA, Crank Shaft outlet camshaft, correlation

Hopefully the 29AA is resolved by exhaust vanos solenoid. WCS: my cam ledges show scoring, which then need to be replaced.

Under what circumstances did you get this "limp mode"?

THAT code isn't your problem:
http://www.***********.com/showthrea...ault-Code-List

Is a little bit down the page, but ignore the 2d5a code. You have other codes pointing to your issue

2D5A is a shadow code, it's irrelevant to the other codes I mentioned above.

Yes and no. I ended up flashing back to my tune and code is gone. Code only showed up when I flashed back to stock and had dp fix in place. Car never ran bad with the code.

Thx much! Maybe I'll do that...flash back to stock and then back to MHD stage 0. Would be nice if this was just a software glitch!

I have it aswell but I think it's because I reverted back to MHD Stage 0 as someone else mentioned in the thread.

Do you have any tune?

It was reverted back to stock. It was some freak issue going on with the computer. The dealer replaced the dme.

Hey so I recently expirenced 2D5A usually without a paired code. I tested what could cause this from recent things i did. It seems that if you forget to change the jb4 map to 0, and flash a custom map with MHD, you'll get some funky codes. I tried and retried this with the jb4 map at 0 and at other maps and it seems to trigger random codes whenever you flash without it being at map 0.

The way i fixed it was to just reFlash my tune and making sure jb4 is on map0

Anyone else have any suggestions? I don't even have JB4 so that's definitely not relevant in every case.

Code fires on its own, and I already flashed MHD back to stock. I am also getting a bit of unstable engine operation while maintaining speed or under very light acceleration. Like a very light jerking/sputtering feeling from the throttle response that goes away if I accelerate more or start slowing down.

New plugs and new eldor coils. It does almost feel like misfiring but no misfire codes.

Any updates on this? I’m having the same issues. Cad feels like it’s having a hard time around 1500-2000
rpm’s. Once i get on it, it drives fine

Log it when the problem happens and when it drives fine. Might help track down the problem.
