Are my Continental DWS tires installed properly?

So I left Sears yesterday and when I got home I noticed something that kinda stood out to me but I can't find any clues to support my theory..

Right under the word "Continental" there is the word "inside", however this is obviously on the outside of the tire.. I've googled for a little while now on if these are directional or not and I can't find a straight answer... Before I go back to Sears with a "wtf" type facial expression I'd just like to know if I'm correct or not, and that these are installed backwards..

Thanks!

What he said.

Also, try not going to Sears to get tires installed next time.

Well I had a blow out on the 4th of July and I only had about 1 option, which was Sears lol.. I'd normally never go there but it was the only place open.. After being told they had regular DW's in stock I had my car towed there and 2 hours later they call and say their inventory is incorrect and they actually don't have the Continentals I was told about but that they only have DWS 06's which are more expensive, then I have to argue for them to match the price of what I was quoted in the first place, only to later get home and find they were installed backwards.. Especially after I was told that it was taking so long because they have their best guy on the job and that he was just a bit slow and thorough.. I didn't realize they meant slow on a chromosomal level.. Smh.. I'm really contemplating on leaving a bad review because this is ridiculous..

+1, and by hand, with a TQ wrench, not with an air gun.

yes have them flip the wheels, I would check them all to make sure they are all facing outward correctly. I believe these tires are not directional as their is no indication that they are.

If they were directional, they wouldn't have an INSIDE/OUTSIDE designation

As the others have stated, the "outside" text on the side wall should be facing out.

I'd just get a full refund and take my money elsewhere.. to wherever you normally buy your tires, assuming they're now open.
