Cluster Conversion?

I want to convert my E90 2008 328xi cluster to 2008 335 cluster. I'm not sure if it would be plug and play(assuming not) due to the e90s having the pointless mpg gauge instead of the oil temp gauge or if coding would need to be done. Any help would be very much appreciated!

There are many threads here about this.
But a word of caution, make sure the cluster you put in comes from a car with lower kilometers than yours.
Otherwise your car will report the higher number and it doesn't seem like an easy job to get it back reporting the actual lower numbers.

Make sure you do your research and don't just go in and start plugging things.

Good luck.

I bought a 335i cluster for $35 and then put the needles and dials from the 335i cluster on my factory cluster's PCB. Then I coded the MPG dial to be the oil temp gauge.
