OMG, those OEM RFT 050's are downright dangerous in any bit of snow. PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. They have no stopping power in snow. Get a lift from the rents until you get snows or all seasons. DO NOT DRIVE IN THE SNOW WITH THE 050's!!!

SGxi they are non-RFT; I have the Dunlop Winter 3D's...seem to be very nice all round. I carry a can of propellant in the trunk.

The new law in Quebec is for December 15th this year... but next winter, it should be November 15th... Even rental cars have to abide by that rule... It makes sense.

I changed them last Sunday... back to 16 inch 156's ...

Here it is.

And owning a tire shop in Québec is indeed sweet this year...... The most popular tire sizes are sold out and waiting times for appointments to change tires is about 3 weeks.

Cool. I know they supply the propellant and pump in the back of the car for summer performance tires, just curious to know if winters would be RFT.

yea, its not much of an issue..i drive it as much as i can but i have access to another vehicle if its really bad out...plus i work from home if the weather turns sour and on top of that, my whole package only cost me $1200!!!
