help me please keeping getting negative timing during wot
so every time I go wot it either drops -3 on one cylinder, some or all please help! e92 FBO 66k miles! just got done putting it together, it's on mhd v7 stage 2 and v8 stage 2 on data logs. I know its the DME helping knock but whats causing it? when DME corrects its usually IAT, plugs, coils, too aggressive map or trash fuel. I know its not too aggressive map because come on its mhd not no custom map and it has brand new coils and plugs with less than 250miles on them and its not the fuel. i know my IAT's were hot but were the hot enough to pull timing and don't worry 7.5 inch will be here Friday!

I'm not an expert here but IATs are entirely too high. Pretty sure MHD's OTS stage 2 maps require an intercooler, if you have one on the way then I recommend waiting to see how that affects things before you go crazy diagnosing this issue.

yeah those IAT are pretty high. It also pulls the timming when the car hits 18psi but recovers from there. Do you have traction control fully off?

yeah traction control is off, abs and tc have been disable every since i put the m3 diff in it can't figure out why? (maybe speed sensor because different ratio) but i do have a intercooler right now just stock and if you look at the last data log my iat were high but not as near bad as the first log and why does it pull timing at 18 psi?? thanks for the help too!!

At high boost your car is not getting as much air as it thinks it is due to the temps. Try flashing the stage 1 map and see how that goes. Or just install the intercooler and see how that changes things.
