3 stage intake manifold disa valve replacement

hey guys im on a mission to remove the service engine soon light off from the dash and one of the many codes ive pulled is 002aac ,002aa9 and from doing a search on the forums it looks to be a disa valve failure. i have not pulled the manifold to check them, but the last time i did a few months ago they were fine. but a few months ago i didnt have that code. so i looked on fcp euro for a replacement valve is $303?! https://www.fcpeuro.com/products?utf...ds=11617560538

thats more than what ive paid for the manifold lol. anybody here had to replace there disa valves? if so where did you purchase yours? im looking for a cheaper alternative lol thanks in advance.

From what I've read, the ebay DISAS aren't going to last long, but I'm open to hearing more first-hand experiences. I bought my 3SI for a decent price but the price of replacing the two DISAs with OEM units is making me rethink that decision haha.

I bought my 3SI used for a really good price with the intent of replacing the DISA Valves. After a lot of reading, there were a lot of horror stories about valves failing...so I bit the bullitt and bought OEM from FCP.

At least those have lifetime replacement.
