I too made a similar topic a month or so ago. I e-mailed the guy mentioned in post #4 by jwise but he never got back to me. In fairness, jwise did mention that the best way to contact him would be by phoning but I never pursued it.

Here's my topic if you care to follow up:

Hi guys,

I've forwarded this thread to my retrofitter. He's super busy now that school's back in, but hopefully he's up for more work.

Cheers!

its not that hard to do yourself
ive done multiple japanese cars projector retrofits
good diy project to do yourself

Just a tip though, never bake your headlights like most diys tell you to do.
take a heatgun and slowly pry it open little by little.
reason i say this is because i did my own car once and when i reassembled everything and drove for about a day the headlights started to haze up in the ugly yellow.
apparently baking it open does something to the chemicals and causes that yellow hue. so says my detailer
just my 2 cents

They say the e90 headlights are a nightmare to open. Japanese car headlights are easy.

call johnny 4168321444 hes a pro...

he specializes in retrofitting projectors... I've see his work and he does an amazing job.

even if you wanted to do the OSS lighting order them and bring it to him and he'll do it... or he has his own stuff too if you wanted something brighter (he's told me they are brighter but those I haven't seen.)

e90 headlights use a stronger glue that can withstand higher heat
that's the only difference
it is a bigger pita but it's still doable
