As I've heard, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions". No matter how early you try to get out and do a car project, it's always hotter and messier than you try to make it but it's done, wiped clean and service reset. Is it too early for one of these?

Never too early, or too late!

I've only bought the spring.

so, basically the top part hooks onto the actuator (right of below image) and the washer looking part hook onto the axle of the flapper (Left part of the imgae), IMAGE

It's possible my spring is too heavy duty, I'll make it work.

ohh don't be a dummy and buy from ripoffazon and get these.

Man, this post just made my day of hell working the e93 all better. I'm headed to the liquor store now...

Purchased my 335i about a month ago but finally was able to get it up in the air to take a look under it with the wheels off. Took the brake rotors off and removed all the rust that had built up on the inner drums. Painted them black to prevent the rust from coming back - looks really clean. Easy to do and provides a nice visual improvement

Totally forgot I bought one of these hoses! It's in a box in the garage. When I changed my OFHG I noticed how bad the hose looked and said I'd deal with it later...

Achieved 30 mpg on a two hour highway drive with I think 91 octane. Not bad for a 2007 328xi 6MT with 167,xxx miles ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

HUGE improvement. The car feels way more direct/linear under loan. One of the best mods I've done.

I'll be installing Whitelines trailing arm and rear lower bushings soon to tighten up the rear end even more.

If anyone wants to rent my subframe bushing tool, PM me.
For those that have done it, What are people's opinion on the inserts vs. a full subframe bushing? Will be doing my in the next little while and everything I've done so far to my car has been from ramps or Jack stands as I don't have a lift. Don't really want to drop the entire subframe, but will do what's best.

There are DIY's on this forum that do not require you to drop the subframe, but I have found that dropping the subframe is absolutely best. It does take a little longer, but it makes your job sooooo much easier. Also, you will have access to all the various bushings including the Differential bushings, which I would also highly suggest if doing the 4 subframe bushings.

I'll take pics and post tonight if I remember. They're not canbus/error free and don't have the smoothest dim in the world but I wasn't going to pay $50 for a set. For whatever reason the front dome cuts off power to the bulb a few seconds after you turn it on while the car is running. Slightly annoying. In the mean time here's the links

For the amount of time I'm in my car with the lights on at night, its great. It's a nice bright pure white. For the few seconds that the car is unlocked, me getting in, choosing music, and driving away (and vice versa) it's exactly what I was looking for. Not 100% smooth but its still a huge upgrade from stock. I've gotten multiple compliments on them.

The festoon bulbs have zero downsides btw.

I may make a mini thread on all the LEDs I've done so far

My passenger door speaker just started making a terrible buzzing noise with certain sounds. The gong sound makes it buzz really bad, so that was helpful and easy for diagnostics. It doesn't sound like anything is loose in the grille. It sounds like the speaker itself has blown or malfunctioned.

Ordered a used one for $16 off eBay! Easy fix.

It is supposed to be possible to use the Quick Jack to lift the car sideways so that you can access from the side. I haven't tried it.

I set my MHD burble setting to most aggressive and 0.3 seconds in duration. Now when I downshift from 4th to 3rd or any gear over 4000 rpm, I get a shotgun bang from the exhaust. If i do it a few times then i get flames. Fun times.
