E82 n55 and e90 n55 xdrive downpipe interchangeable?

Are they interchangeable? Looking at getting a used dp from someone local. He can't remember but thinks it is a CYBA downpipe. I'm trying to figure out if it will fit my 2011 335xi.

The o2 sensor is in a slightly different spot but the unit should physically bolt up. I have an AR pipe on my X1 and it had three holes for o2 sensors. I just had to move the plug to put the o2 sensor in the correct spot.

Here's an image of the dp in question. I noticed some have o2 hole lower, after the pipe splits to two, and some have it higher like this one. Hoping someone could let me know if either works for the xdrive. Thanks

I bought a 2nd hand VRSF downpipe for my 2012 LCI XDrive from a E82 N55 owner about two years ago. It fit almost perfectly, with the exception of the o2 sensor holes being a little different.

Lower the subframe about 3-4 inches. But only loosen the six bolts to the last few threads. No need to remove them. My bolts were four 7/16 compatible E-torx and two 18mm bolts. Might help to have an engine support brace.

Edit: Oh, I see you have the exhaust lowered.

Pro tip: I managed to change my turbo without removing the whole turbo-fold on XDrive.

Also possible to change diverter valve on xDrive without dropping subframe and removing waterpump and t-stat. Go from up top and remove inlet and coolant overflow.

Okay, great. So for the o2 sensor, did the holes being different cause any issues?

Did you do the install on a lift or jacks?

Hi, No issues at all. I dropped the sensors from up top of the engine. I used $45 Rhino ramps from Auto Zone. It really gave me the security to be under my car for some hours.
Soak tight bolts in PB Blaster. I used a 1/2" 20" breaker bar and deep o2 socket.

FYI, That dp looks like it would fit perfectly. Hit it with about 10 coats of VHT high temp, flat silver or aluminum ceramic paint and it will look nearly identical to the VRSF unit.
