Carlos is right Swavesey Travelodge is pretty shite.

You'll spend £20 in fuel and parking driving the M3 to Cambridge

There are loads of hotels and B&B's in Saffron Walden which Carlos agrees its a good location to stay. Plenty of pubs too.

Hello guys, finally found this post and read it all

Im definately up for this. Ther is no novice/intermediate/pro sections on this track day. Its all novice drivers on the 29th August.
Snetterton is a lot better than bedford imo. Bedford just looks all the same, and does get boring, as all the bends are the same. Where as snetterton, every corner is different. I did 220miles last week at snetterton. I started with 6mm tread on my tyres all round, and i still got 5mm tread all round now.
Although it rained in the morning, but dried up in the afternoon.
Heres a quick vid of a drive by

http://s270.photobucket.com/albums/j...Snetterton.flv

If it was a day at bedford, then my tyres would be ruined. Pretty weird, but i think its due to all the hard breakin at bedford.

Whats the UK6?

I cant wait for this track day with you guys, its going to be a lot of fun

ps. carl, have you changed your number, i tried to ring you

Welcome Baris! Congrats on finding us!

UK6 is a meet we organise for all UK based E9x owners - but non E9x owners are welcome too! Its the sixth meet we've had (hence UK6) and the previous ones have all been brilliant fun. We meet in Derbyshire which is central for most people in UK to make it fair. Its 30/31st August straight after the track day! You would be more than welcome to join us...

Ive done 3 at bedford and 1 at snetterton so far. I might be doing one at silverstone southern track on the 7th august. I was going to do bedford on the 9th, but after they measured my exhaust at 104dBs, i dont think im allowed on that track again!!

UK6 seems quite far - 150 miles!! will probably do about 350 miles in total on the 29th as it is.

I worked out that was your nickname mate Hiten would be working. I got another mate with a golf r32, but he will be working also on that date. il make a topic on evotechnic to get more people to come if you like?
Yes, Mtorque is a joke. I have been banned from that site 4 times now lol. Bloody old farts! They are the c£$ks that jeremy clarkson said owned M3's

Steve, we can meet up near the north circ/M11. Last week i left at 6:30, got ther for 8. Its good to get ther early as possible, as the office you register in, is tiiiiiny. Better to get all that stuff done asap, then walk across the car park to get a full breakfast

if you guys enjoy snetterton on the 29th, and you decide your not a novice anymore ther is another trackday on

Thursday, 04 September Snetterton Full circuit Open Pitlane, 105 db £149.00 This is a good day, as its organised by heritage track day. I went to ther track days last week, and ther was hardly any cars, compared to easy track day. I think they limit it to 40-50 cars.

or if anyone wants to go before then, ther is snetterton track day on the 12th August. Open pit lane.

Il probably go to both of these as well.

Carl, we need to get this booked soon, don't want to lose our places. Especially if the EvoT boys hear about it, it will get booked up quick...

Can you not tell them we're coming but confirm when we have 10? Speak to them and at least reserve for those that have said yes, but say we are still aiming for a group of 10 asap...
