Doc, both those M3's look nice. I just think it's fishy it doesn't have the right wheels on that first one. 90% of the cost in optioning ZCP was the wheels. Any dealership can fix a wrecked car and avoid car fax submittals, or if a private owner pays cash outright. If I were looking at that car i'd make sure the car was inspected with a gloss meter and a good eye

Met with John (LSU Bimmer) today and he was very gracious spending an hour introducing me to his new 2011 e92 M3 with DCT and ZCP. He took me for a ride in the M3 then I let him drive my 335is after which he let me drive his M3. His car is fabulous with every option and he got one hell of a deal. The M3 is without a doubt a nicer looking car both inside and out. The seats are also more comfortable. The wheels are sick. It does not have the instant get up and go that my TT N54 has and John agrees. I am curious what my car would feel like with FBO + Cobb. Luckily, John also has a 335i with JB4 and he has offered to let me test drive it as we'll next week. This will give me an appreciation for the feel of a tuned N54 although, as I understand things, the 335is is considered slightly "tuned." I have been searching 335is vs M3 and opinions are split. Everyone agrees that the M3 is the "cooler" car but I think the difference comes down to top speed and tracking. The FBO 335is beats the stock M3 in 0 to 60 and 1/4 mile every time...so I am still on the fence. Either way I get a "new" car here soon. I took a pic but can't copy to Bimmerpost on stoopid iPad2. I'll post tomorrow from office desk top. Ciao.
