Radio only functions in accessory mode.
Only works in ACC mode
I have 07 328xi. Radio and I idrive works prefect until I power up vehicle. The screen lights up but nothing works. Knob doesn’t respond. I’ve searched multiple forums and Facebook groups but I’m haven’t been able to find any solution. It also plays when I remove the keyfob  |

the radio is depends and activates but dcan-bus
some modules are hanging on can-bus in accessory mode but not activated and some activated when you insert the key and activate ignition so some module disturbs bus and radio lose communication with knob knob is also on common car bus, it is not wired directly to radio
