i dont care about passing emissions, just dont want engine light on or codes stored for something that isnt an issue.

If you are using mhd you should be good to go.

PRO TIP: Make sure your car is fully sorted BEFORE installing the DPFix, it will make your life much easier. I had a misfire situation going on that elongated the entire process unnecessarily.
