I havent ever used one. I generally dont speed above the flow of traffic when commuting. Its only when I want to have a little fun that i get above to high, and then i usually do a visual scan. Its more of a, I havent gotten a speeding ticket (even through I have been pulled over plenty for it), so why get one approach.

9500ix is the shit (for under $500 market). hardwire it with the concealed display and the GPS lockout helps with all the Walgreens and other false signals.

too be honest, i don't think the markup on the v1 is in contrast with greater quality. if it sucked your dick while you drove then i can see the price difference. if anything, it might be worth $50 - $100 more imo. now if you're going all out and doing a 100% hidden install then maybe spend the extra cost.

I can't find the picture right now, but someone installed the hidden display behind one of the vents and it gives me a minor chub every time I see it.

V1 isn't bad by any means, but the arrows just seem like a good idea on the surface that just doesn't matter if you really think about it.
I'd rather have the GPS lockout and all of that stuff first. Who cares what direction the signal is coming from, when you hear the beep you slow down regardless of where its coming from right? |
