i know someone who got screwed and his company didnt take enough taxes out one year....he owed quite a bit

I think when I fill out the W-4 initally, I put too much exemptions and got screwed...

call your payroll department and make sure you get it corrected for FY 2008. don't claim too many exemptions, chances are, you don't qualify for them or ended up with insufficient deductions. this is very critical.
