Finally added the missing piece to the puzzle 🧩.
Now my underseat subs can finely be mids, as they were designed to be! All I can say is that the system sounds fantastic, almost unreal. I got the enclosure from Visual Ice. They are located in England I believe. It only took 6 days to get to my house once they shipped it. The box is solid & heavy. Fitment is spot on. I put a JL Audio 10w1v3 sub in the box. It's powdered by an Alpine 300w amp. I only have the gain turned up about 4O%. Cost of the box was $190.00 US dollars. It's made 100% out of Fiberglass & the box came with Polyfill already in it. |

Drove it home. My first E90, that is.
Had to race a bit before it got too dark since only the passenger side parking lights work in the front. But hey, can’t expect perfection for a couple grand, right? Newest BMW I’ve ever owned, so we’ll see how this goes. It has been sitting most of the last couple of years in the guy’s hangar next to his plane and a couple of Porsche race car projects and other cool stuff. It’s got a few things here and there, as usual, but shouldn’t be anything catastrophic. I hope... Cleared a boatload of codes with my Foxwell reader when I got home just to get a baseline to see what comes back.

Strongly considering putting one in my 135i as I sorely miss the reverse tilt side mirror function

Changed a blinker bulb...i guess it did last for over a decade, so I guess that's something.

Swapped headlights and we have light!!!
Not sure what was wrong with the old ones since I even used the ballasts from the old ones. You’d think ballasts are usually the problem, but I guess not this time around. Then again, I’m not complaining. Easy fix and doing the job was one of my biggest bargaining points, even though he included the brand new Hella lights with the sale. Took the car for a little shakedown cruise and seems to be working pretty good for a $2200 E90. Until something happens, of course. LOL!!! Next up is trying to clear the airbag and seatbelt lights. Throws 93B2 code and I’m hoping it’s just the small two-wire connector on the BST like others have found.

New here any input helpful
Not sure why I can’t make a new post.
Posting here what I did today and last few weeks. 08 335xi bought used from original owner, 97,000 miles Car had turbos replaced at 93k had some sort of 100k mil warranty always dealer maintenance Car was perfect besides tire sensors until about 102k miles Then car started with cold start miss, most of the time it would go away on its own, or turning it off on would fix Check engine light went on Replaced plugs, coils, cabin filter and air filter. Car still had a miss, replaced hpfp. Car drove better but still not right and check engine light went on. Replaced all injectors with index 9. Car drove great. At this time changed the valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket, oil change with liquid molly and coolant flush. Last week had a coolant leak after using the heat for the first time. Replaced 3 hoses. Coolant pretty much everywhere Check engine light on again. Bank 1 cat converter Car is driving great still, I cleared the code drove 55 miles it’s still off I’m not inclined to replace the cat yet, but of code comes back should I replaced o2 sensors or replace the cat? Any help or suggestions appreciated Thanks. Julia |
