The host's name is Matt Farah and the program is Garage 419. He's also the host of The Car Show with Adam Carolla, and The Smoking Tire.

I have personally met the owner of that Lotus twice on Mulholland at the meeting spot on "the snake."

He has an incredible passion for cars and a wealth of knowledge so I was disappointed to see that he's A FUCKING ASSHOLE. He drives the same roads I do, constantly driving beyond recklessly, crossing double-yellows around completely blind corners. On both occasions he has challenged other guys (one was in a GT2RS, I think) to "race in the canyons" like he has something to prove. Constantly calling people out, cursing like a sailor.

Amazing machine though, I do respect the time and effort that must have gone into it.
