OEM E90 Headlights Non-Halo

Can you put HID's into the OEM Non-Halo Headlights?

You can, but you will blind oncoming drivers if you install HID bulbs into the halogen reflector housing. The proper way is to retrofit projectors into the housings to better focus the light output.

As mentioned above, it will blind drivers without projectors and is probably illegal in that situation.

But a projector retrofit would be ok

Or aftermarket units that come with projectors. Seem to be a number of aftermarket options available, depo being the most popular.
