E92 328i rear fog lights enable
Hi, I have USA market car with light switch which has rear fog lights button. When I click on it, rear fog lights does not turn on. I tried different combination with front fogs on, engine running and auto lights selected, still rear fog lights do not work. Where could be the problem?
I have coded TPMS out, I have reset CAS/DSC/KOMBI to defaul could there be a problem after reseting? could there be a problem in coding? or its not possible to turn off fog light swich with coding? |

I don't believe there is any coding required for this. Pull the light switch assembly out and check to see if there is anything behind the button to make contact with button on the board. I used the lego trick and it instantly worked.

It was working when I bought the car, but the button is realy "clumsy".
What other issues could make my rear fog light no work? Is there a fuse for rear fogs? I will take out switch if there cant be anything else making my rear fogs not work. |

You were correct its that clumsy button fault. I took swtich out and pressed hard and sometimes light switched on. So I guess that "lego" peace is too short and you need to press as much as possible and sometimes its not enough.
