m57 325d engine cover

As per title, the foam sound absorber has more or less fell apart on my car again priced it from the dealer don't really want to spend that kind of money.

any fixes recommended

Tear all the remaining foam out, clean the top of your engine, and carry on as if nothing has happened.

At least that's what I'm doing with mine!

Yeah mine fell apart so I just pulled the rest of it out and refitted the cover. As far as I can tell it’s made no difference so not bothered looking into replacing it.

dont really stop much sound when in cabin etc,,or if you really want one then e bay is ya mate or breakers
