Tyre size for 335i coupe
Hi,
Any one here know if you can fit a 275/30 r19 or 285/30 r19 tyre on the rear of a 335i coupe, I have the standard suspension set up etc and the star spoke style wheels sometime the car carries 4 people so its important it doesn't rub also as most will already know these cars wear the back inner edge of the tyres out like mad could there be any additional wear in increasing the tyre size? Cheers all. |

If you are using the regular BMW Style 230 19" wheels, then 265/30/19 is about the widest you should go, as it's only a 9J wheel. 285 section will definitely be way too wide for the wheel.
It's a different situation if you're using a 9.5J or 10J rear wheel, but then you'll have to play around with offsets and maybe wheelarch rolling to avoid rubbing...

Best tire fitment for 2010 335ix cp daily
I'm new to these forums and also to BMW ownership, just picked up my car and want to find out what might be the best wheel/tire size setup. As of now on stock suspension but most likely will only drop it a small amount. Have a set of 18x9 +30 square in mind but hearing those might need a little finessing to fit perfectly
2010 335ix coupe, used mainly with one person in the car as a daily driver, some hard driving but no track use (for now) |

I'll leave this here Incase it helps:
I'm running 19" 313M wheels with 15mm spacers all around with original 225 and 255 tyres Front 8J ET 37 = now ET 22 Rear 9J ET 39 = now ET 24 I'm on standard setup not rubbing at all, the front has no space for 235 but the back can get away with 265. |
