Used a oscillating tool. Heard you couldn't bake them. So I went with something I'm more comfortable with. Cut it open. First time working on a E90. Usually work on E60 headlights. Installing Orion on them.

looks amazing. maybe get some stealth bulbs. they still blink yellow but are clear/silverish.
