Just the tips (35 owners)

Slapping on a M Performance ducktail and rear diffuser & I'm thinking to buy a pair of 4" tips (slash cut) to give that aggressive rear look...

I believe stock are 2.5" and they just look way too small

Can some of you fellow 35 owners post pics of your 3.5" - 4" tips for inspiration...

Sometimes 4" can look chavy this is why I'm kind of hesitant at the same time. Most 320d's with 335i rear conversions have tin looking 4" tips which look cheap and I don't want to go for that look.

What do yours look like Smokey?

One thing to consider is the look of single wall tips and double wall tips.

Single wall tips, as posted by Soden82 above, give the appearance of bigger/wider tip opening, however it makes maintaining and cleaning easier.

The double walled tips that I have, in the link posted, will eliminate some of the wide opening and not look as big, but will in return require periodical cleaning.

3.5" size is ideal, although you are good up to 4". The difference is not that noticeable.

Definitely love the look of the single walled against the double to be honest.

Single walled, slash cut is what I'm thinking so far. 3.5 or 4 hmm

Hopefully this helps as I’ve got the Seibon CF bootlid and Perf diffuser along with larger tips courtesy of my Akra exhaust.

I do think 4” tips are a little too big and look oversized IMO.

Anyway here’s a pic of mine:

Although the 3.5" do look nice... I really love the look of these tips in these pics (similar style diffuser and high kick I'm going for), I think these are closer to 3.75-4"

The bottom ones are my favourite...
