Got the AA Stage 2 tune for my N51

I finally decided to do the AA tune for my car this week and I have to say it definitely made a difference in terms of getting rid of the hesitation when stepping on the gas!

Thanks to Pete at Works Motorsports in Sonoma Raceway for doing the work.

Looking forward to getting the car on the dyno and seeing exactly how much the difference is now.

Curious about this - do you have additional work done on your car - or are you literally running a bone stock N51 with the tune?

I have the N51 as well, and have noticed some of the hesitation you mention. What other thoughts do you have about it so far?

Congrats on the tune! Are you catless? Did you end up getting a burble option for the tune?

Tune + Headers seems to be the biggest output power-wise for AA. They highly recommend it. As with any tune, supporting modifications help greatly. Maybe not so much considering this is a NA engine and these mods significantly help a turbocharged engine more so than they would a NA engine.

If you have a better flowing intake, exhaust to go with this tune it should react nicely, regardless of headers.

I'm running bone stock N51, the AA tune is the only thing I have done to the car so far. Because I'm in California, a lot of the more exciting things such as headers will not work for emission or CARB.

From driving around these last few days, the acceleration feels more linear where as before there was a brief delay when I stepped on the gas. Also the car just feels faster especially around 3000 RPM.

I don't think I can go catless unless I somehow get around CA emissions. I have not done anything with the headers and exhaust yet especially with that new exhaust law here.
