WTB: Used Corolla/Civic in the Bay Area

my dad is in the market for a used corolla, civic or small car for my sister. needs to be an automatic and valued ~$10k. so maybe like a 2002 model or newer?

the accord has been having repetitive issues that numerous auto shops could not fix. the car literally shuts down on the road. all she has to do is start it up again but it's just too unsafe.

already looking on craigslist and other spots. just thought i'd ask on here too. if you guys know of anything, let me know!

My dad is selling a white 01 or 02 Corolla. Its a good car..
